The aim of my film is to display the process of growth in humans, and how this can be influenced by our surroundings.It will be for audiences interested in mental growth and questioning the main factors that the affected who they are today. It would be for those who have exceeded or are currently experiencing adolescence. A suitable location for my work to be shown is at a film festival, so that a larger range of people within an audience would be exposed to my video. However, I chose to display it in a home environment as a way to bring back nostalgic memories of home films. It makes my outcome seem more personal as the audience is within a space that feels more familiar than a cinema or in public. I also think a more personal approach to displaying my work will prioritise encouraging people in feeling more sympathy and compassion for others and their narratives.
